Channel 3 joined force “Kick off, the Bangkok Governor challenges the media to plant a million trees” Campaign
On July 10th, 2022, Channel 3 by Mr. Charkrit Direkwattanachai, EVP-Corporate Affairs & Communications, executives and employees led a team of news anchors, i.e. Punyawee Sukkulworasate, Parinda Kumthumpinij, Piyanee Thiam-amporn, Juthatip Pakdeekul, also actor and actress, namely, Itthipat Thanit and Lalina Schuett, along with other media organizations joined the event “Kick off, the Bangkok Governor challenges the media to plant a million trees” at the Chaloem Phrakiat Park His Majesty on the Occasion of the Auspicious Ceremony to Celebrate the 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary (Suan 9 Hills), Bang Bon District. At the event, the Bangkok Governor planted Cana tree and joined the planting of trees with the media, of which 1,000 trees are planted with 8 types of trees.
The green agenda “Planting One Million Trees” of the Bangkok Governor, Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, would help Bangkok achieve its goal of creating green spaces and walls to filters dust all over the city, shading in living, promoting the diversity of urban ecosystems, generating income for communities, and people and trees can be grew together. The Governor encouraged people and private sector to participate the campaign and urged each media organization to plant at least 1,000 trees.
Channel 3 has played a vital role in promoting “Planting One Million Trees” of the Bangkok Governor, then we will organize the “Channel 3 Planting One Thousand Trees” in the area of Khlongtoei District Office.
