BEC world Plc reports a higher earnings of more than 25 percent during the Q2/1997 period over the same period of 1996. BEC claims that it enjoys an increased earnings so far from selling advertising times since Q4/1996 during which advertising fees had been adjusted upwards as well as utilization rate has improved. However BEC still laden with higher interest receivable, resulting from capital increases during Q2/1996 and a higher cost from previous operation. BEC said that the above clarification could be applyied to both of its separate and consolidated statements.
