On 14 July 2026, the Department of Intellectual Property (DIP), led by Ms. Auramon Supthaweetham, Director-General of the Department of Intellectual Property, together with the department's delegation, visited Channel 3 to observe its operations. The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Viboon Leeratanakajorn, Chief Executive Officer – Television Business, along with the executive management teams of BEC World Public Company Limited and Channel 3. The visit provided an opportunity for both organizations to exchange knowledge and experience, strengthen collaboration, and enhance proactive measures to protect intellectual property rights and address intellectual property infringement in the media industry at Maleenont Tower.

During the visit, the delegation attended a special presentation by Mr. Chakrit Direkwattanachai, Deputy Executive Vice President, Corporate Affairs and Corporate Communications, who shared insights into the company's operations, strategic direction, and future business outlook. The delegation also toured the studio of the popular live television programme “Hone Krasae,” hosted by Kanchai Kamnerdploy, during an interview with special guest Nene, a Thai artist who has gained international recognition. The visit continued at the Kao Sam See programme, where the lead actors from the drama “Two Faces of Thatri” were promoting their latest production.

The visit also enabled both organizations to exchange best practices and discuss approaches to strengthening intellectual property protection within the media industry through practical case studies. Topics included the trademark registration of "LOLO", the artist brand created by actresses Ling and Orm, the lawful commercialization of creative works, and the management of artists' intellectual property rights in relation to events and overseas engagements. Discussions also covered measures to protect trademarks, manage officially licensed merchandise, prevent unauthorized production and distribution of counterfeit products that could negatively affect artists' reputation and commercial value, and explore future collaboration to further strengthen intellectual property protection and enforcement across Thailand's media and entertainment industry.
