Channel 3 Calls for Donations of Money and Supplies to the Thai Red Cross to Aid Flood Victims.

The severe flooding in many parts of the country, particularly in the southern provinces of Songkhla, Phatthalung, and Surat Thani, is beginning to recede; despite signs of receding floodwaters, residents in these areas still need assistance and must remain cautious. Several other areas, including Nakhon Si Thammarat, Trang, Satun, Pattani, Yala, and Narathiwat, require continued vigilance.
This flooding has become a serious problem, impacting the livelihoods of those affected by the floods. They are still awaiting support, as the damage will become even more apparent once the water subsides.
Channel 3 is pleased to offer another channel for public relations for those who donated to assist flood victims with the Thai Red Cross Society. Donations can be made in the form of cash and essential items.
Essential items include “food items” such as rice, dried food, and instant noodles (note: the food items should have expiration date of more than 6 months). "Bedding" includes picnic mattresses, pillows, mats, blankets, and essential items for disaster victims who must evacuate their homes to shelters. "Essential Supplies" includes sanitary pads, adult and child diapers, mosquito repellent, towels, new clothes, and underwear. Donations can be made as follows:
Cash donations: Donate to the following account: Siam Commercial Bank, Thai Red Cross Branch, account number 045-3-04637-0, account name: Thai Red Cross Society for Disaster Relief (Current Account).
Donate essential items: Donate at the Disaster Relief Warehouse, Thai Red Cross Society Relief and Public Health Office, Tel. 02 251 7853 and 089 782 0660.
