Recycled big plant plot from bottle caps
29.01.2021: Another continuous staff volunteer project from last year is reforming ‘bottle caps’ to be big plant pots. As the caps were still useful, BEC volunteering staff collected 100,000 bottle caps since last year and sent them to recycle process at SCG. Those caps were reformed to be two big plant pots. SCG sent them back to BEC, and they are now displayed on 4th floor’s elevator lobby.
We learned that the recycle process could help reducing Co2. For instance, bringing 100 Kg. of bottle caps to recycle process in Circular Economy will reduce up to 106-160 Kg. of Co2. The 100,000 caps from BEC staff could reduce 200 Kg. of Co2.
