August 27, 2003 TO: President Stock Exchange of Thailand RE: Short - term loan to Mobi (Thai) Co., Ltd. This is to inform that Board of Director of BECi Corporation Co., Ltd. has approved short - term loan of Baht 550,000 to Mobi (Thai) Co., Ltd., its subsidiary. This loan is due for repayment on call, at an interest rate of 4.75% per annum. Details of the transaction are as per the enclosed disclosure form. Mobi (Thai) Co., Ltd., is a joint venture between BECi Corporation Co., Ltd. [BECi] our subsidiary which BEC holds 99.99% of its registered share capital and BEC-TERO Entertainment Plc. [BEC-TERO], our subsidiary which BEC holds 60% of its registered share capital, that BECi' s holding is 60.0% and BEC-TERO' s holding is 40%. Please be informed accordingly.
