November 13, 2002 To: President Stock Exchange of Thailand Re: Submission of financial statements for the 3rd quarter of 2002 Enclosures: Financial statements for the 3rd quarter of 2002 We are sending you herewith the enclosed financial statement of the Company and the consolidated statement of the group for the 3rd quarter of 2002 ended 30th September 2002, which were reviewed by both the Audit or and our Audit Committee. The operating result of the group for this 3rd quarter of 2002 is a profit of over Baht 415 millions, decrease slightly when compared with the result of the previous quarter as a result of a drop in revenues caused by seasonal factor and the special losses on closure of VDO case manufacturing facilities of CVD - an associated company but higher than that of the same period of last year by 25% or an increased of Baht 82 millions as revenues had increased by more than 7% whereas the operating costs had droped.
