May 13, 2002 To: President Stock Exchange of Thailand Re: Submission of financial statements for the 1st quarter of 2002 and explanations on the difference over 20 per cent from the same period last year. Enclosures: Financial statements for the 1st quarter of 2002 We are sending you herewith the enclosed financial statement of the Company and the consolidated statement of the group for the 1st quarter of 2002 ended 31st March 2002, which were reviewed by both the Auditor and our Audit Committee. The operating result of the group for this 1st quarter of 2002 even is a profit of over Baht 333 millions, but however is lower than that of the same period last year over 20 percent. That is because of the lower revenue especially the big drop of our advertising airtime sales as a result of the lower airtime utilization rates in both television and radios caused by the drop of advertising expenditure that we have experienced since the 3rd quarter of the last year. Even the utilization rates improved when compare with the previous quarter, however when compare year on year they have caused our net profit to drop from the same period last year by more than 20 per cent.
