August 15, 2000 To: President The Stock Exchange of Thailand Re: Submission of financial statements for the 2nd quarter of 2000. Enclosures: Financial statements for the 2nd quarter of 2000. We are sending you herewith the enclosed financial statement of the Company and the consolidated statement of the group for the 2nd quarter of 2000 ended 30th June, 2000 which were reviewed by both the Auditor and our Audit Committee. The group's revenues have been increasing continuously from the prior quarters and for this 2nd quarter of 2000 were higher than those of the same period of last year by more than 40 percent. However, as we incurred loss on covering the European Championship Football Matches (the EURO 2000) and we have changed our accounting policy on the way we amortize the costs of "Plays Charges" which has pushed our costs of sales of the quarter up by Baht 137 million, the operating result of the group for this 2nd quarter of 2000 is a profit of Baht337 million. This net profit is slightly higher than the previous quarter but higher than the profit of the same period last year by 19 percent. Please be informed accordingly.
